Kick-start your network in Den Haag

Leerdoelen

  • Practise introducing yourself naturally and confidently
  • Build meaningful connections to support your next career steps
  • Strengthen your networking skills through real conversations
  • Receive peer support and new ideas

JobOn is returning to Den Haag, and we’re kicking off 2026 with a relaxed New Year networking meet-up at the Dutch Language Café! This informal gathering is all about meeting people, practising your introduction, and growing your network in an easy, low-pressure way.

Learn from each other

Over the course of three hours, you’ll take part in simple networking rounds, exchange experiences with other participants, and get more comfortable talking about your strengths, interests, and goals. It’s a friendly space where everyone learns from each other — whether you’re actively looking for a job or simply exploring new possibilities.

And the best part? You never know who you might meet. A fellow job seeker, a job coach, someone working in your dream sector, or even a hiring manager who happens to be there. Conversations at JobOn events often lead to unexpected connections, insights, or new opportunities.

What you will do

  • Meet people from different backgrounds in a warm, international setting
  • Practise short introductions and real-life networking conversations
  • Share your goals and challenges in a supportive group
  • Exchange tips, encouragement, and fresh perspectives
  • Build your confidence in talking about your experience and strengths
  • Get inspired by the variety of people who join JobOn events

Join us if you want to:

  • start 2026 by expanding your network in Den Haag
  • feel more confident approaching new people
  • practise your “pitch” in a relaxed environment
  • meet others who are navigating similar career steps
  • get energised and supported at the beginning of the new year

Everyone is welcome — all sectors, backgrounds, and experience levels.

Wie organiseert dit event?

eventmanager

Vicky Chan

Cultures. Connections. Collaborations - I enjoy organising events because they bring people together, spark new ideas, create opportunities for meaningful connections and collaborations.

As a newcomer and a job seeker it was overwhelming to come to a country and start all over again with no network or social support. Luckily, I found JobOn and it was a great deal of help for me - I got to organize a lot of events and establish new connections and got to be a part of a big supportive community.
