There is plenty of advice about how to look for work, but sometimes the most useful insights come from people who have recently been through the experience themselves.
Real experiences from successful job seekers
In this session, several JobOn volunteers who have successfully found work in the Netherlands will share their personal job-search journeys. They will talk openly about the strategies they tried, the challenges they encountered, what worked, what didn't, and what ultimately helped them find their current role.
Discover what works in the Dutch job market
You will hear different perspectives on topics such as networking, job applications, LinkedIn, recruiters, adapting to the Dutch job market and dealing with setbacks along the way.
No two job searches are the same. The aim of this session is not to offer one formula for success, but to share real experiences that can give you fresh ideas and practical inspiration for your own search.
There will also be time at the end to ask the speakers your own questions.
